Composer and vibraphonist Scott Munson's music has been performed throughout the world in concert halls, film, TV and radio.

Scott’s concert music has been performed at venues such as Carnegie Recital Hall, Symphony Space, The Joyce Theater, Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walter Auditorium, etc., as well as festivals and venues around the country and overseas.

His music has been featured in IFC’s film “Time Out of Mind” starring Richard Gere, Fox Searchlights award winning film “Another Earth”, A&E’s “Killer Kids” and “Clash of the Corps”.

He was awarded the Innovative Theater Award for “Best Musical Score” for his music to the off-broadway plays “The Diamond Eater” and “Sawbones” by playwright Carrie Robbins, for which he also received the ASCAP PLUS award.

He graduated from Rutgers University where he studied composition with Pulitzer prize winning composer Charles Wuorinen, percussion with William Moersch, and jazz theory and jazz improvisation with Kenny Barron and Ted Dunbar.
